Brenda Morton is an Associate Professor in the School of Education. She cofounded the Trauma Informed School Initiative at George Fox University in Newberg, OR, where teachers are trained in trauma-sensitive practices. Brenda is a cohort leader and director of the Master of Arts in Teaching program Newberg format. Her research interests include the impact of trauma on the academic outcomes of P-20 students and life outcomes of foster children.
