Trauma-Skilled™ Certifications
Move Beyond Awareness. Build Everyday Action.
Most educators are already “trauma-informed”—they understand that chronic stress and adverse childhood experiences affect learning and behavior. But understanding the problem isn’t the same as knowing what to do when a student shuts down, acts out, or disengages in class.
The National Dropout Prevention Center’s Trauma-Skilled™ framework bridges that gap. It equips educators and school systems with concrete, research-grounded Tier 1 practices that build resilience, de-escalate behavior, and keep students moving toward graduation.
