Tara Simmons

Tara Simmons is a Graduation Coach at Lexington County School District One’s Pelion High School in Lexington, SC, where Tara leads academic interventions and “at-risk” programs, including course recovery labs, student interventions, extended year summer school programs, and initial credit blended learning programs.

Tara earned a bachelor of science degree in Human Development with an emphasis in education and business, as well as her global career development facilitator certification (GCDF). Tara has worked in the field of education for over 20 years. She loves building relationships with students and celebrating in all their accomplishments and success.
