Tammie Shepherd Pate currently serves as a program coordinator in the School of Education at Hamline University in St. Paul, MN. In addition to her role at Hamline, Tammie leads professional development training in partnership with the Foundation for the Advancement of Cultural Education. Combining years of research, training, and personal experience, her workshops cover topics ranging from cultural diversity awareness and dropout prevention to teaching special populations (specifically students in poverty).
