Shayna Love graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Sul Ross State University with a Master of Education in School Counseling. Shayna serves as a Counselor in the Districtwide Student Initiatives Department for Dallas Independent School District. Shayna has nearly three decades of experience in public education in a variety of roles including teaching, coaching and counseling. In her current role she serves middle and high school students who are at-risk of dropping out of school. Shayna also supports the District’s counselors in selecting the best-fit credit-recovery programs for their at-risk students to succeed in graduating and continuing their post-secondary educational journey.
