Mary Finley is the Career and Technical Education Director for McDowell County Schools. She is in her twenty-fifth year in education. She earned her B.S. Business Administration from Gardner Webb University and her M.A. degree from Appalachian State University in Instructional Technology Specialist – Computers.
She began her career as the SIMS Coordinator in 1995. She taught five years at West McDowell Middle School before becoming the Instructional Management Coordinator for Career and Technical Education. She is in her sixth year as the Career and Technical Education Director, where students in grades 6-12 are served. She is dedicated to student success.
