Marina Leonidas has worked in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools for 11 years. She completed her undergraduate work at SUNY Albany in sociology/criminal justice and received her MSW from the University of Connecticut. Her focus and passion has been working with at-risk youth. She has worked in the state prison system/corrections in Connecticut and as a PBIS coach, an early intervention coach, and McKinney-Vento social worker. She currently serves as a truancy court program specialist for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District.
