Loranda Melton

Loranda Malloy Melton is a Consultant with Richland School District One in Alternative Education. She served as a Marketing Instructor for 10 years at Heyward Career and Technology Center. She has worked in Alternative Education for the past 8 years and presently served as the Coordinator of the EXCEL Academy and Alternative Education Academic Coordinator.  She takes great pride in ensuring the diverse needs of all students who choose alternative education are met and that their experience is one that help them obtain their high school diploma and become a productive citizen of society.

Loranda holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from South Carolina State University. She also has a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Webster University.
