Mr. Kenric Collins currently holds the position of Stay in School Coordinator in the department of Student Engagement and School Completion at Fort Worth Independent School District. In this position, he provides truancy interventions and dropout prevention for 13 campuses. Prior to this role, Mr. Collins was employed by Tarrant County, Texas, as a certified Juvenile Probation Officer, overseeing middle school discipline at the Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program (JJAEP). Mr. Collins also serves as Executive Director of Urban Truth, Inc., a youth mentoring and enrichment program. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff and a master’s degree in Education from Grand Canyon University. Mr. Collins also holds certifications in Basic Mediation and in Advanced Family Mediation from the University of Texas at Arlington.
