Jackie Plude currently serves as a Graduation Coach at Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk, Virginia where she assists with ensuring the school’s on-time graduation rate, prevents and recovers dropouts, and oversees the credit recovery and ISAEP programs. She has worked in public education for 24 years. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Old Dominion University: Bachelor of Arts in English Education in 1993, Master of Science in Education in 1999 and Principal Licensure in 2005. Her previous positions include teaching middle and high school English in traditional and alternative settings and serving as Dean of Students for eight years. She refers to her current position as her dream job. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons.
