Aleya Prier

Mrs. Aleya Prier is the Principal of the Bridge to Success Academy at West Jacksonville located in Jacksonville, Florida.  Mrs. Prier has served Duval County Public Schools for 20 years beginning her career with Elementary Education teaching grades 2^nd – 5^th.  She later expanded her leadership roles to that of both Secondary and Alternative School Placements.  Mrs. Prier received a Bachelor of Science from the College of Education  from Florida A & M University and her Master’s Degree from Nova Southeastern University focusing on Curriculum and Instruction.  Mrs. Prier has worked with students from many situations and backgrounds.  Mrs. Prier was also instrumental in a local middle school receiving the status to successfully become an AVID and Cambridge School.  However she finds it a personal passion working with “At Promise” students.  During her career, Mrs. Prier has served students who have been identified overage and/or At Risk.  Her passion to serve such students and families continues to be her daily push toward helping her community continue to be a great place to live and learn.
