Timothy Maybin is currently an Instructional Facilitator in the Greenville County High School Alternate Program (HSAP) in Greenville SC. This is his 8th year in the HSAP program. He loves working with young people, and majored in Human Resource Development at Webster University, where he earned his Master of Arts.
Mr. Maybin spent 22 years in the United States Army, where he worked with and trained young people for over 15 years. He has worked with army personnel and civilians who were affected by violence and witnessed acts of terrorism and other conflicts.
Mr. Maybin is a self-directed, action-oriented professional with over 20 years’ experience in education and community service and proven ability to solve problems and to manage and motivate people. He is experienced in developing curriculum as well as conducting training and parenting programs. He is an enthusiastic, committed educator with an innate ability to understand and motivate young people.
