Montina Romero, PhD, is Assistant Superintendent of Student Services in Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8 (FCC8) in Fountain, CO. An educator for 21 years, she is responsible for FFC8’s safety and security initiative to include partnerships with local law enforcement. Dr. Romero has worked closely with the Colorado Department of Education on Response to Intervention and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support practices. Additionally, she is identified as a leader in special education across Colorado.
