Minerva Soto has held the position of Stay In School Coordinator in the Department of Student Engagement & School Completion at Fort Worth Independent School District for the past eleven years. In her position, Ms. Soto provides truancy interventions as well as dropout prevention for 13 campuses. The department’s mission is to ensure students graduate from high school fully prepared for post-secondary education. She completed her studies at the University of Texas at El Paso with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. She also holds certifications in Basic Mediation and Advanced Family Mediation from the University of Texas at Arlington.
