Larry Ertzberger is the principal over the Group Homes and Residential Treatment Facilities program for Greenville County School District, in Greenville South Carolina. He started his educational career in 1979 as a teacher and coach. Over the years he has been an assistant principal and principal. For the last fifteen years he has been involved with special education students and at-risk students. He knows it is his calling to be a voice for these students, as he advocates for their educational rights. The TSS model has helped him and his staff to empathize with students, gain insight into their needs, and develop classroom settings which help the students thrive and grow academically, emotionally, and socially.
