Mrs. Kenyatta N. McLeod is beginning her 19th year in education. She is a career-change educator and received certification through the South Carolina Department of Education Program of Alternative Certification for Educators. Mrs. McLeod received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Carolina, a Master of Education in Divergent Learning from Columbia College, and her Educational Specialist degree from Cambridge College. She served as a special education teacher of students with emotional disabilities for 12 years. She has been in a variety of leadership roles such as Instructional Facilitator, Assistant Principal, District Curriculum Coordinator and most currently serves as a High School Principal within South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.
