Bill Preble is a Professor of Education at New England College in Henniker, NH where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Educational Psychology, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership and Reform, and supervises first-year education students and student teachers. Bill is the founder of Main Street Academix, an innovative educational research and consulting firm specializing in School Climate research and improvement, student leadership development, and inspired teaching. Bill is a former elementary school principal and elementary middle, and high school teacher. Bill and his staff at MSA are currently working on school climate improvement and student leadership development using his SafeMeasures, student-led, collaborative action research process in 42 schools in NH, TN, ME, and MA. Bill is currently working on his second book, Building Respectful Schools Together: Empowering Students and Inspiring Teachers to Improve School Climate and Learning.
