Santa M. Patton is an engagement and initiatives advisor for the Shelby County School District, covering the greater Memphis, TN region. She has a passion for helping students reach their full potential outside of the classroom via student voice and experiences aligned with students’ future career and life goals. Santa is a native of Memphis, TN and attended school in the district she currently works in, so the work is dear to her heart. She holds degrees from Vanderbilt University and the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, she is creative, working as a freelance makeup artist for over 5 years. When she is not in the office, you can find her actively participating in her church, sorority and attending community events.
