Dr. Pamela Davis is the Executive Director of Dropout Prevention for Duval County Public Schools in Jacksonville, Florida. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Math Education from Florida A&M University and a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Davis’ career spans over 23 years in the field of education serving at-risk youth. In her current position, she oversees alternative programs that seek to support students with behavioral and academic challenges. Many of the programs provide an accelerated program model to assist students with acquiring credits and advancing toward graduation. Dr. Davis is also responsible for support services related to Families in Transition, Foster Care, and students enrolled in Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) programs. She is passionate about establishing programs to increase access for all students to perform optimally.
