Mary Thomas

Mary E. Thomas holds the position of Special Projects Coordinator with the Shelby County Schools Mental Health Center. Mrs. Thomas has served in several positions over the past 20 years with the district. She has a deep passion for the Positive Action Prevention Program and Dropout Prevention in Alternative Schools and I Zone Schools within the district. She believes all students can achieve at high levels if provided the tools to succeed. Mrs. Thomas works with a supervising psychologist and a team of school social workers and school psychologists managing the Tennessee Prevention Network Grant. She is here to make a difference and to make the community a great place to live and learn for the students of Shelby County Schools.
